Random Stuff

Stuff that I've been meaning to write about:

  • The most popular Google search that brings people to this blog is "300 pounds woman" or "picture 300 pound woman."  As my husband mentioned this morning when I told him, I'm no long their dream girl.  So sad!  (HA!)
  • My new phone came (remember, my old one died on the day from hell last week).  My new one is this one from Virgin.  It's not sexy or anything (my old one was the first of the MTV Slider models and very cool) but it was only $25 with shipping.  I've been busily entering phone numbers and such.  It was great on Thursday when I was out all day being able to make and receive calls.
  • Still working on the blog re-structure.  You can't really see it, but I've been going back and assigning categories to blog entries.  I'd used them a bit from the start, but since they didn't show up sometimes I skipped out on doing them altogether or lumped everything under "Life" and/or "Musings."
  • Almost 2 months after my tummy tuck / hernia repair I finally don't feel like crap at the end of each day.  Update to follow.
  • The weekend before last Paul and I went to see the Spanish language film Pan's Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno).  It was a strange and beautiful magical real film that I cannot recommend highly enough.  Definitely the best film I've seen in the last few years.  However, even though it's about a young girl, fairy tales and fantasy, this is not a film for children.  It's quite dark and disturbing, definitely meriting the R rating it was given.  Rather than being a children's film, it's a film about childhood.  And what could be more disturbing than that?

What Were You Expecting?

Well, at least one of you surfed in after Googling: photos of enormously fat chicks.

Personally I'm hurt that it wasn't: photos of enormously fat hottie chicks.  But then you probably don't know me anyway.

What Were You Expecting?

"chubby girls getting spanked," perhaps?

I've spent the last hour giggling over the search terms that are leading people to this site (yes, I do have StatCounter installed).  It only shows the last 100 or so and generally isn't so humorous.  The main searches seem to be about IDS protein and other less exciting things.  And I say that while sipping an IDS vanilla drink made with coffee and soymilk.   Very tasty but not exciting.

Today though, people are search for a "300 pound woman."  Sorry to disappoint them, but not any more!  Ha!  That, by the way, is the most popular search leading people to this site.  Not "duodenal switch,"  not "weight loss surgery."  They come here looking for a large woman.  I swear, this makes me feel like I've escaped from the circus.

There's also "broke chair lose weight" -- well, blush, yes.

People looking for "harry snape spanking fiction" -- not at this site, but maybe here.   Hee!  Whoever you are, I hope you come back and write to me.  :)

And those who need a "recipe for limeade" -- yup I've got that and an excellent one it is too.

Finally, and sadly, my friends who are looking for "shrinking boobies."

Google is just amazing.

Honestly, I'm not freaked out by people coming here seeking chubby chick porn.  I do feel bad about disappointing them, though not badly enough to post any nekkid pictures of myself.  I suspect that is a disppointment to none of my regular readers.

Whatever your reason for being here, I'm really glad you're reading.
