1. Explain what ended your last relationship?
   I ended my first marriage wanting something better.  Ten years later I can say I definitely found it.
2. When was the last time you shaved?
   This morning.
3. What were you doing this morning at 8 a.m.?
   Riding to work, listening to NPR and celebrating the US national election results.
4. What were you doing 15 minutes ago?
   Cheering the news of Rumsfeld's resignation with the rest of the office.
5. Are you any good at math?
   No.
6. Your prom night?
   Was a blast.  I went with a friend of a friend and we danced, drank and partied until past dawn.
7. Do you have any famous ancestors?
   Depends on how you define famous.  A couple are mentioned in books about early and Gold Rush California.
8. Have you had to take a loan out for school?
   Yes, to finish my BA.  None for grad school.
9. Do you know the words to the song on your myspace profile?
   No myspace profile.  My husband is a computer programmer and would make fun of me until we died.
10. Last thing received in the mail?
    Protein powder from a friend!
11. How many different beverages have you had today?
    3 - coffee, protein shake, water
12. Do you ever leave messages on peoples answering machine?
    Yes. I sometimes prefer it to actually reaching people.   
13. Who did you lose your CONCERT virginity to?
    Tom Petty at the Whiskey 1983.  I used a fake ID.
14. Do you draw your name in the sand when you go to the beach?
    No.
15. What was the most painful dental procedure you have had?
    Root canal at USC dental school that took 3 days. 
16. What is out your back door?
    No back door.  I live in an apartment. I do have a sort of front balcony / porch with two chairs, small table and a baker's stand with dying plants on it.
17. Any plans for Friday night?
    Generally dinner and a movie with my spouse.  But maybe just me on his PS2 playing Dragon Quest viii.
18. Do you like what the ocean does to your hair?
    Love it, especially the way it makes it smell.
19. Have you ever received one of those big tins of 3 different popcorns?
    Yes, but not since I was 15.
20. Have you ever been to a planetarium?
    5 or 6.   I love 'em.  I can't wait to get to the one at Griffith Park that's just been redone.
21. Do you re-use towels after you shower?
    Yes.   
22. Some things you are excited about?
    Politics, bdsm, sunshine, good coffee, going to films, getting US and UK troops out of Iraq.
23. What is your favorite flavor of JELLO?
    Lime.
24. Describe your keychain(s)
    Office key and two front door keys on a ring.
25. Where do you keep your change?
    In my change purse and in a big glass jar in the study.
26. Do you sleep with the door to your room open or closed?
    I don't care, but husband prefers it closed.
